Emergency First Aid At Work - Level 2



Pre-requisites

Students must be at least 16 years old at the start of the course.

In order to complete the course you will need to bring along photographic ID to show to the tutor.

Please arrive on time and bring a notepad and writing materials with you.

Please note that employees of GLL are required to attend in uniform including name badge.

General Information

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is intended to provide basic first aid for any colleague. It will provide the necessary qualification to support the dedicated First Aider.

Having the correct first aid provision in your workplace is not only a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of you and your employees.

Course Content & Structure

The Emergency First Aid course is delivered over one day and includes 7 hours of training/assessment.

This course is HSE recognised and Ofqual accredited.

The course syllabus covers:

Understanding the role of the First Aider

Assessing situations (safety in an emergency)

First aid equipment

CPR

First aid for the unconscious casualty

First aid for shock

First aid for the wounded or bleeding

First aid for choking

First aid for minor injuries
