Tennis Coach Apprenticeship
If you have a passion for tennis, this apprenticeship will get you started in coaching. Subjects covered on the apprenticeship include preparing, coaching and evaluating tennis coaching sessions, working in a team and customer care.Read more
Recreation Assistant (Multi Skilled) Apprenticeship
This apprenticeship will give you a range of skills, allowing you to work in the fitness, coaching and operations aspects of a leisure centre. Subjects covered include working in a team, preparing for activity sessions, planning and instructing gym exercise and customer service.Read more
Fitness Instructor Apprenticeship
As a Fitness Instructor Apprentice, you'll learn how to design individually tailored, safe and effective exercise programmes, how to instruct and interact with customers and the opportunity to deliver popular group classes.Read more

If you enjoy speaking to and working with people, this Customer Service Apprenticeship could be for you. You'll learn all aspects of customer service from how to handle issues and complaints to building good customer relationships.Read more
Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) Apprenticeship
If you’re practical and want to be involved in the inner workings of a leisure centre, then this is the apprenticeship for you. This apprenticeship covers a wide range of subjects including Lifeguarding (for centres with a swimming pool), dealing with customers, health and safety and setting up equipment to name a few.Read more
Entering into a Management Apprenticeship will help you develop and demonstrate recognisable leadership and management skills. Subjects covered include how to lead a team, understanding financial procedures and how to address performance problems affecting team members.Read more

At GLL College, you don’t need prior qualifications or experience to apply for an apprenticeship. We only ask that you’re aged 16 or above and are passionate about the leisure industry and improving community services.
Simply search for the vacancy you’re interested in, and enquire or apply by following the instructions on the page.
Alternatively, you can email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org quoting the vacancy you are interested in.
What happens next
First of all, we’ll check your eligibility for apprenticeship funding and then invite you to attend one of our recruitment sessions.
These sessions help us find out a little bit more about you, but more importantly, lets you find out more about GLL College and our apprenticeships so you know that you’re making the right decision in getting your career started.
